The Baldwin BT237 Spin-On Lube Filter is a heavy-duty full-flow oil and lubrication filter designed to help protect engines and machinery from harmful wear particles and contaminants. With its robust construction and reliable filtration performance, the BT237 is suitable for demanding applications across the agricultural, construction, industrial, automotive and commercial equipment sectors.
Featuring a 23 micron nominal and 45 micron absolute filtration rating, the Baldwin BT237 helps remove contaminants from lubricating oil before they can circulate through critical engine components. This helps reduce the risk of abrasive wear and supports reliable engine performance and component life.
The BT237 is the long version of the Baldwin BT216, providing an increased filter length while retaining the same 93.7mm outside diameter and 3/4"-16 thread. It incorporates an anti-drainback valve, 8 PSID bypass valve and standpipe for dependable lubrication system performance.
The Baldwin BT237 has an overall length of 181mm (7 1/8") and includes a G381-A gasket. It can also be used with an OB40079 filter base, subject to confirming application compatibility.
The filter is suitable for a wide range of equipment manufactured by Bobcat, Caterpillar, Hymac, Hyster, J.C. Bamford (JCB), Komatsu, Landini and Massey Ferguson, as well as applications using Perkins engines.
The Baldwin BT237 is also listed as a compatible replacement for Perkins 2654407.
