The traditional technology of lead-acid (flooded) is ideal for all those starter applications of heat engines where high starting power is required especially at low temperatures.
These batteries are classified as Maintenance Free batteries (PbCa Technology) used mainly on cars, and low maintenance batteries (PbSb-PbCa Hybrid Technology) conceived for a heavy duty service on trucks, buses and tractors, where higher performances in the charge/discharge cycles and greater vibration resistance are required.
