The Chicago Pneumatic CP7782-1 1" Drive Pneumatic Impact Wrench is a powerful, heavy-duty air impact wrench designed for demanding applications including truck and HGV tyre changing, agricultural machinery, heavy vehicles, fleet maintenance and industrial workshops.
With up to 2,600 Nm of maximum reverse torque, the CP7782 is built to tackle stubborn and heavily torqued wheel nuts and fasteners. Its durable aluminium housing and pinless closed reinforced rocking-dog impact mechanism provide excellent durability for professional workshop use.
The standout feature of the CP7782-1 is its impressive 2,600 Nm maximum reverse torque.
This makes it particularly suitable for removing stubborn wheel nuts and heavily tightened fasteners on HGVs, trucks, buses, agricultural machinery and other heavy equipment. Chicago Pneumatic specifically positions the CP7782 series for tyre-changing applications.
The forward working torque range is 500–2,000 Nm, providing substantial power for tightening and general maintenance applications.
The CP7782 features a pinless closed reinforced rocking-dog impact mechanism, designed to provide high durability under demanding working conditions.
The metal construction and reinforced impact mechanism make this pneumatic impact wrench particularly well suited to professional garages, commercial vehicle workshops and industrial maintenance environments.
The D-handle configuration provides a secure and controlled grip when handling this high-torque impact wrench.

It features a 1/2" air inlet, with a minimum recommended hose diameter of 13mm / 1/2" for a 5m hose. Air consumption at load is approximately 19 L/s, with the manufacturer's data specifying a maximum dynamic working pressure of 6.3 bar.
For best results, use the CP7782 with an appropriately sized workshop air compressor, high-flow airline and suitable couplings.
