The Deso V1230PDD 1,230 litre bunded diesel dispensing tank is a compact fuel storage and dispensing solution for farms, commercial premises, construction sites, workshops and other locations where on-site diesel storage is required.
With a 270 gallon capacity, integrated secondary containment and a complete dispensing package, the V1230PDD provides a convenient way to store and dispense diesel from a dedicated fuel tank. The standard equipment includes a 6 metre delivery hose, automatic shut-off nozzle, 10 micron water and particulate filter, K24 flow meter, overfill prevention valve and clock-type contents gauge.
The tank is manufactured from MDPE (medium-density polyethylene) and has a relatively small footprint, allowing it to be positioned on a suitable pallet or a 3 × 3 arrangement of concrete slabs where appropriate.

The standard V1230PDD configuration includes a 230V pump with a maximum flow rate of 72 litres per minute.
This provides a practical dispensing rate for routine vehicle and machinery refuelling, while the automatic shut-off nozzle helps control the delivery of fuel during filling.
The pump is supplied with a 3-pin caravan-style plug and 1.8 metre power cable.
Alternative pump voltage configurations are also available, with 12V and 110V options offered depending on requirements.
Diesel passes through a 10 micron water and particulate filter before reaching the dispensing hose. Filtration helps remove unwanted contamination and water from the fuel during dispensing.
Regular inspection and replacement of the filter should be carried out in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's recommendations and the operating conditions.
The V1230PDD includes a K24 flow meter, allowing fuel dispensing volumes to be monitored during refuelling.
A clock-type contents gauge is also fitted to provide a straightforward indication of the amount of diesel remaining in the tank.
Together, these features make it easier to keep track of both fuel usage and the remaining tank contents.

Diesel storage tanks must be installed on a suitable base and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and the requirements applicable to the particular site.
The supplied installation guidance specifies a level, load-bearing concrete base, with a minimum thickness of 100mm and extending beyond the tank footprint. The ground surrounding the installation should also be kept clear of vegetation.
Requirements relating to bunding, proximity to drains or watercourses, planning and fuel storage can vary according to the installation. Check the current requirements with your installer, insurer and relevant Irish authorities before installation.
Where the tank is being used for a domestic oil installation, use an appropriately qualified and registered installer and confirm the applicable requirements before work begins.
