Compact Junior Hacksaw Design

The Eclipse EC7014JR junior hacksaw is designed for cutting metal where a smaller, more manoeuvrable hand saw is preferred. Its compact size makes it particularly useful for maintenance work and applications where access around the workpiece is restricted.

The bow provides a maximum cutting depth of 60mm, giving the saw useful capacity for a range of suitable metal-cutting tasks.

Spring-Tension Steel Frame

Rather than relying on a conventional adjustable frame, the EC7014JR uses a single piece of shaped steel rod. The design provides a degree of spring within the frame, helping maintain the appropriate tension on the blade during cutting.

The steel construction is powder coated for a durable finish and provides a solid frame and handle for regular workshop use.

Quick Blade Replacement

Each leg of the frame incorporates a blade holder designed to make changing the junior hacksaw blade straightforward. The holders also help position and shield the blade ends around the grip area.
