PETRE Gearex EP 85W-140 is a heavy-duty extreme pressure (EP) gear oil formulated for demanding automotive, agricultural and industrial applications. Its high-viscosity SAE 85W-140 formulation provides a strong lubricating film and reliable protection for gears, axles and differentials operating under heavy loads and high-pressure conditions.

Available in 200 litre sizes, making it suitable for both workshop maintenance and higher-volume agricultural, commercial and industrial applications.

Why Choose PETRE Gearex EP 85W-140?

The 85W-140 viscosity grade is designed for applications requiring a heavier gear lubricant capable of maintaining a protective oil film under demanding operating conditions. Its extreme pressure formulation helps protect heavily loaded gear teeth and drivetrain components against wear, scuffing and shock loads.

The 20L size is ideal for farms, workshops and machinery maintenance, while the 200L drum is suited to businesses with higher lubricant consumption.

Important: Always check the equipment manufacturer's handbook for the correct viscosity and performance specification before use. Gear oils are not universally interchangeable, even when they have the same viscosity grade.
