PETRE 5 Year Antifreeze Concentrate (Pink) is a long-life OAT engine coolant concentrate formulated for year-round protection in compatible petrol and diesel engines. Based on monoethylene glycol, it is designed to help protect engine cooling systems against freezing, overheating, corrosion and hard water scale.
The long-life formulation provides up to 5 years or 240,000 km of coolant protection, making it suitable for vehicle servicing, fleet maintenance, agricultural machinery and other compatible engine cooling applications.
PETRE 5 Year Antifreeze uses Organic Acid Technology (OAT) to provide long-term corrosion protection within engine cooling systems. It is suitable for cooling systems incorporating aluminium and ferrous metals, helping protect different metal components from corrosion during normal operation.
The concentrate is free from nitrates, amines, phosphates, borax and silicates.
For maximum stated freezing and corrosion protection, a 50% concentration of PETRE 5 Year Antifreeze is recommended. At this concentration, the product provides protection down to approximately -38°C.
As this is a concentrate, it should be diluted with water before use according to the required level of protection and the equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
Always check the vehicle or machinery manufacturer's coolant specification before replacing or topping up coolant, particularly where a specific OAT or long-life coolant requirement is stated.
